SEMICON India 2026: PM opens chip expo as three plants begin commercial production

UPI crosses 800 million daily transactions for the first time in September 2026
UPI processed 24.07 billion transactions worth Rs 29.37 lakh crore in September 2026, NPCI data show. Average daily volume rose to 802 million, a first, even though the monthly total dipped from August.
