Editorial policy
How Mishra News World researches, writes and checks stories.
Accuracy first
- We verify facts against primary sources — Gazette notifications, CBDT/CBIC circulars, PIB releases, RBI and ministry websites — wherever possible.
- Each story lists its sources. Where we rely on a secondary source, we name it.
- Numbers, dates and effective dates are checked before publishing.
Independence
- Stories are not sold. Advertisements are labelled “Advertisement” and kept separate from news content.
- We do not accept gifts or payments in exchange for coverage.
Fairness
- We report what a rule says and whom it affects, without political bias.
- We do not publish content that is defamatory, obscene, or that promotes hatred or violence.
Use of technology
- Writing tools may help with drafting, but every story is checked and approved by an editor before publishing.
Code of Ethics
We follow the Code of Ethics for digital news publishers set out in the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
