Key decisions
1. Reservation for former Agniveers
Former Agniveers will get 20% horizontal reservation in recruitment for Enforcement Constable (Transport) and Jail Warder posts. Their four years of Agniveer service will be counted towards the upper age limit, with an additional three-year relaxation. Overall reservation stays within the 50% ceiling.
2. Cheaper long-term loans for small farmers
Under the Mukhyamantri Krishak Samriddhi Yojana, small and marginal farmers can get long-term loans of up to Rs 6 lakh at 6% annual interest through the UP Cooperative Gram Vikas Bank.
3. Chitrakoot Link Expressway
A six-lane, 15.172-km link expressway will be built at an estimated cost of Rs 1,008.67 crore in EPC mode.
4. Smart schools
Primary schools run under the Basic Education Council will be developed as smart schools.
