Maharashtra Board 2027: HSC exams from 8 February, SSC exams from 15 February
The Maharashtra State Board (MSBSHSE) has announced tentative windows for the 2027 HSC (Class 12) and SSC (Class 10) exams, including practical and oral assessment dates. Subject-wise timetables will follow.
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has announced the tentative schedule for the 2027 board examinations. The announcement, made through a press note in mid-September 2026, gives students and schools early notice of when the written and practical exams will be held.
Tentative exam windows
| Exam | Practical / oral / internal assessment | Written exams |
|---|---|---|
| HSC (Class 12) | 20 January – 6 February 2027 | 8 February – 16 March 2027 |
| SSC (Class 10) | 28 January – 13 February 2027 | 15 February – 11 March 2027 |
The schedule applies across the board's nine divisional boards: Pune, Mumbai, Nagpur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Kolhapur, Amravati, Nashik, Latur and Konkan.
Subject-wise timetable still to come
These are probable windows. The board will publish detailed day-by-day, subject-wise timetables for HSC and SSC separately on its official website. Until then, students should not rely on timetables circulating on social media or messaging apps.
How to use this early notice
- Plan revision so the syllabus is complete before practicals begin in late January.
- Class 12 students preparing for national entrance tests can map these dates against exams such as JEE Main 2027 Session 1, which NTA has tentatively placed in late January.
- Keep in touch with your school for practical and oral exam slots, which are organised at school or college level.
