What the new season is about
The show is set in Dhadakpur, a village that was proud of being crime-free. In the first season, which premiered in 2025, the story revolved around a stolen motorcycle meant as a wedding gift. In Season 2, a mobile phone tower comes up on Banwari's barren land and the villagers start blaming it for everything that goes wrong, with the series keeping its mix of small-town humour, superstition and warmth.
Other titles this week
Dupahiya 2 is one of several new titles on streaming platforms in the first week of October, as services line up content for the festive season. Viewers can check each platform's app for exact streaming times and language options.
The first season became a word-of-mouth hit for Prime Video's Hindi originals, which is why the return of its full lead cast has drawn attention.
